106| INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

My Spiritual journey kicked off in 2007. Before that I had questioned my beliefs (which is completely normal to do!) I knew then that there is a Higher Power, but what else is there? What’s the point of life? Just some of the questions I had. And in search of those answers I even accompanied friends to their Churches. Except for some messages I received throughout a service, I never found what I was looking for. It just didn’t click or feel like Home. After meeting with a Spiritual teacher/Guru, she introduced me to Chakras and more. It peaked my interest and I started buying books, listening to audio, watching documentaries, going to Holistic events etc. In the midst of all of that my mom passed away and well… Here we are.

I’m not going to sit here and say that there aren’t many times that I feel lonely on my spiritual path. I was once told that this is something that is personal and to not expect others in my life to go on this journey with me. And I completely innerstand that. But it would be nice to have someone to sit with and talk about our epiphanies, weird dreams, signs or messages that I’ve received, etc etc. So what did I do? I put out a request to the Holy Spirit and my ancestors. I told them that I needed and wanted to be a part of a community and meet new people to connect with.

Soon after I found myself Googling. I was looking into workshops, classes, certifications etc when I remembered that I met a woman/spiritual teacher a few years ago at one of the local Holistic Fairs! I went into my office and grabbed a bag where I keep business cards for holistic and spiritual purposes. And found what I was looking for. I quickly entered her website’s name and signed myself up for her newsletter.

Several weeks later I got an email and in that email was an invitation to an International Women’s Day Soulful Retreat that she was hosting and instantly I knew it was my answered prayer/wish fulfilled! I shared it with a friend in case she wanted to go and it’ll be just me tomorrow. It’s close to an hour away from my house, but I am going! If you’re reading this, I’ve already gone to the event since it was on March 8th.

Look out for my next post where I will tell you all about it! I can’t wait to write about how it turned out. I know it’ll be just what I needed.

Going to more spiritual retreats, workshops, classes is one of my top goals for this year. I have my level 2 Reiki and Past Life Regression Certifications and looking to add more! I love learning, I love growing, and will make sure to make the time for it.

Thank you for reading! I hope you have a wonderful week and month of March! Pssst! Spring is near! 😆

Love, light, the shadow too—-Cin.
