102| BACK AT IT

Guess who’s back? Back to the gym? Yes that’s right! My body finally felt well enough to return and yeah, I’ve been sore as you know what lol. I don’t like taking breaks because of the first day after work out soreness. I do full body workouts and yeah lol.

Anyway just wanted to say hello and share an accountability post. I’ll be doing them for myself, most likely on Pinterest.

I wear layers when I go. Saturday night I wore a hoodie, and sports bra, sweatpants and shorts underneath just in case. I also remembered I don’t like to work out with my hair down. I got overheated quickly. I also need new headphones. I usually wear wired headphones just not at the gym. Hardly any of my pants have pockets and I dont like having my phone on my person for long periods of time. This is due to my sensitivity to EMF. The pair that I’ve been using are not sweat proof and it’s severely damaged the cloth materials.

This is all mental. I don’t like going, but I go because once I am there I feel good about myself. I know that the results I want require consistency and this is a great way for me to show up for myself. I try to give myself incentives for going lol. I treat myself to a new sports bra, or new t shirt, or new leggings. It really does help with the motivation. And I give myself small goals to reach in between the bigger goals.

101| HIDDEN GEMS

Surgery went well. Took longer than expected but everything went well. I got my results and they were benign. I had all the faith that they would be. I won’t lie and act like the word or mention of Cancer is never scary but I knew I’d be okay. Grateful to be right! Grateful for the prayers. A small, small few knew about this. I decided to keep it very quiet. And now happy to say that it’s in the past.

I’ve been taking things slow. Listening to my body as it heals. Listening to its queues and what it needs. It’s been a lot of rest, and down time and that’s okay.
