75| SATURDAY & SUNDAY

This past weekend started off with a viewing to celebrate the life of one of my closest friend’s grandson who she raised as her son. He passed away last Saturday at the age of 19. The service was beautiful. Our group of friends myself included keep checking on her and praying for her.

After the service I met up with my cousin and her best friend at the movie theaters. We watched “It Ends With Us”. Due to the many reviews I’ve heard being “certain things were not accurate” it made me curious. I feel like I would enjoy the book more, although I really liked the movie. I guess it left me wanting more.

After the movies I met up with one of my friends and headed to King Of Prussia and went shopping for a few items I needed for my trip. And to try out a new (for us) restaurant.

We started the meal with peach mojitos. For appetizer we had their Mediterranean hummus dip. It was my favorite thing out of the meal. A lot of flavor and spice. My heat tolerance is rising!

Annie got their tomato cream soup. It looked delicious. She said that it was.

For the main meal I had their Plant-Based Double Cheeseburger house-made portobello, beet and walnut vegan burger, served with lettuce, with out the pickled onions, organic tomatoes, vegan cheese, and without jalapeño remoulad.

And Annie had The Original Chicken Sandwich house-made pickles, awesome sauce, served with their simple green salad.

The food tasted fresh and had a lot of flavor. The service was great as well. We received right amount of attention and charisma from the waiter. Only upset was that we wanted to try their Strawberry Crumble but they were out of their dairy free ice cream…Safe to say that we will be going back.

Sunday was a nice day. I got some grounding in. And went to the gym. Someone told me that it’s great for mental clarity and for therapeutic reasons, and it’s helped keep me focused on my body goals.

How was your weekend? Thank you for reading!
